THE HEART BEHIND THE ROOT OF POSITIVITY

Meet Nicole

Personal Support Facilitator

I help people do the things that feel hard to do alone. Whether you're facing something overwhelming, trying to take a next step, or simply need someone steady beside you, I offer calm, compassionate support while you move through it in your own way.

My Path Into This Work

Long before I had professional language for this work, I was naturally drawn to what lived beneath the surface.

I’ve always been someone who notices when something feels off, hears what isn’t being said, and wants to understand what may be making something feel difficult for another person. But more than anything, I’ve found myself naturally becoming the person people turn to when they don’t want to face something alone.

Sometimes that means sitting beside someone while they sort through something overwhelming. Sometimes it means helping them slow things down enough to see a next step. Other times, it simply means being a steady presence while they do something that feels hard.

Over time, my education in nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, emotional processing, coaching, and spiritual and intuitive practices gave me more ways to understand and support those moments. But underneath all of those tools, the heart of my work has remained remarkably simple:

I help people do the things that feel hard to do alone—without taking over what is theirs to do.

My role isn’t to decide what is right for you or do the difficult thing on your behalf. It is to meet you where you are, help make the moment feel more manageable, and remain beside you as you find your own way through.

A Little About Me

I’ve learned through both life and professional training that support doesn’t always need to be complicated. Sometimes what makes something difficult feel possible is simply having another person there—someone calm, curious, and willing to stay beside you while you find your way through.

Outside of my work, I’m a wife, a homeschool mom to two amazing kiddos, a lifelong learner, and someone who feels most at home in nature.

You’ll often find me exploring whatever subject has caught my curiosity, spending time outdoors, enjoying weekends at the camper, or creating something new for The Root Of Positivity.

I believe meaningful change happens in ordinary moments just as much as it happens through intentional practices—the conversation you finally have, the thing you’ve been avoiding that you finally begin, the moment you listen to yourself instead of pushing past what you need.

At the heart of everything I do is a simple belief: you can do hard things, and you don’t have to do them alone.

Certifications & Continued Education

My work is supported by ongoing education across the mind, body, emotions, and the ways we make meaning of our experiences.

I hold professional training in holistic life coaching, mind-body practice, emotional processing and nervous system regulation, and spiritual life coaching, with continued education in intuitive and complementary approaches.

This multidisciplinary background allows me to draw from different perspectives depending on what may be useful in the moment—rather than expecting every person or every hard thing to fit within a single approach.

My training informs the support I offer, but it doesn't place me above your own knowing. You remain the expert on your life and experience.

I believe good support includes knowing both what I can offer and where my scope ends. When something calls for care or expertise outside of my role, I will always be transparent about that.

My Approach

My approach is simple: you bring the thing that feels hard, and we make it feel more doable together.

I don’t take over, make decisions for you, or assume I know what you need. Instead, I meet you where you are and offer the kind of support that helps you move forward while keeping your agency firmly in your hands.

Depending on what you bring, that might look like breaking something overwhelming into smaller steps, sitting beside you while you begin, helping you prepare for a difficult conversation, reflecting through a decision, or simply being a steady presence while you do the thing itself.

My background in nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, emotional processing, coaching, and intuitive and spiritual practices gives me additional tools to draw from when they’re useful—but you never need to know which tool or modality you need before coming to me.

We start with what feels difficult right now and go from there.

Where Would You Like To Begin?

There is no single right way to begin. You may be looking for support with something that feels difficult, a resource to explore on your own, or a community where you can continue learning and connecting. Begin wherever you feel gently drawn.
